Usually one cannot be reconciled with the other. Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. The cameras we use are the latest generation of the same type with large 1 inch image sensors. Outstanding image quality is ensured even in difficult lighting conditions. The use of programmable motor pan-tilts enables the cameras to be operated remotely, which reduces personnel expenditure and enables cost savings.

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. Professional cameras of the same type are used. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. As one of the few video producers, Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. This activity led to a wide variety of places for a wide variety of topics. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Video recording of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.

Video editing, video cutting, audio editing

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. Since Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs contain no electronic components, this potential vulnerability and cause of data loss is absent. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
