A main field of activity of Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. As one of the few video producers, Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

For the video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc., we consistently use the multi-camera method. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. This resulted in several hundred TV reports and video reports. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
