Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion. Several cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

For the video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc., we consistently use the multi-camera method. The multi-camera recording makes it possible to capture the many areas of the event from different perspectives in the picture. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Several hundred TV reports, video reports and reports were produced and broadcast. The researched topics as well as the locations were very different and varied. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. The use of several cameras is also useful for the video production of rounds of talks, interviews, discussion events, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. If you would like video material from you or from other sources to be integrated, you are welcome to submit this. Audio tracks from concert recordings can also be remixed and remastered.

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs not only offer unbeatable advantages in terms of archiving. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
