A main field of activity of Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. If the many different areas of the stage presentation are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we can do this using the multi-camera method. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
