Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. We use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. We use cameras that are remote controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
