Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion. Professional cameras of the same type are used. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. Remote controlled cameras are used. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. When it comes to interview or conversation situations in which several people take part, we naturally rely on the proven multi-camera method. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Of course, recording events, concerts, interviews and discussions is not enough. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. Since Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs contain no electronic components, this potential vulnerability and cause of data loss is absent. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
