A main field of activity of Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. Several cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be operated by a single person. This saves personnel costs for you.

The topics were as varied as the places reported on. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion offers small batch manufacturing of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
