Actor Michael Mendl in Zeitz - Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing

In 2019, Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz. Several events were held with the actor Michael Mendl and other artists at various venues in Zeitz. The reading and concert with the title >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. Demanding project despite limited financial possibilities?

Most of the time you have to decide between these options. Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is the exception to the rule. We use cameras of the same type of the latest generation with large 1-inch image sensors. Outstanding image quality is achieved in difficult lighting conditions. With programmable motorized pan-tilts, cameras can be controlled remotely, minimizing manpower and enabling cost savings.

A main field of activity of Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is multi-camera video recording and video production. We use cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.
Video reports for television and the Internet

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. This resulted in several hundred TV reports and video reports. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.
Editing of video and audio material

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.
Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Erfurt Video- und Medien-Produktion is also your partner for CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small quantities. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. Since Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs contain no electronic components, this potential vulnerability and cause of data loss is absent. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
